What is Face and Body Tite?
FaceTite™/Body Tite™ is the new minimally invasive alternative to the traditional surgical facelift or body liposuction. This revolutionary procedure is the ideal match for women and men in search of facial and body rejuvenation without the risks and worry associated with traditional surgery. FaceTite™/Body Tite™ offers sagging skin/fat removal, skin tightening and skin lifting. FaceTite™/Body Tite™ delivers radiofrequency heat energy ablation to areas of the face and body experiencing pockets of stubborn fat accumulation (jowls, double chins, stomachs, arms) due to the natural ageing process which slows down the body’s ability to produce elastin, the secret to keeping our skin taut and fresh. FaceTite™/Body Tite™ dissolves excess fat tissue whilst stimulating elastin production to tighten the treated areas. It is the perfect solution for minimally sagging skin that would pose a risk of overtreating with traditional liposuction. It truly scarless liposuction. The Procedure:
At your consultation, you will be carefully examined by our surgeon who will discuss your personalised treatment plan. The treatment is done using local anaesthetic, and is done in a safe, sterile environment, ensuring 5-star patient care. We currently perform all Face and Body Tite treatments at Westlands Medical Centre in Hornchurch.
Small ‘punctures’ are made either side of the area being treated to allow access for the FaceTite™/ BodyTite™ probe to pass easily under the skin, which is painless as the area is now numb from the anesthetic. When the energy is being delivered through the probe there is usually a sound of ‘popping’ or crackling that can be heard. This is all normal and indicates adequate heating of the subcutaneous tissues with subsequent contraction. Once the correct amount of energy and heating is delivered to each treatment zone, which usually takes around 5 minutes to each area or zone, then a gentle liposuction or aspiration of fat from area is undertaken, if required, to complete the treatment.
Once the treatment is over, small plasters are applied to the puncture sites. Stitches are not normally needed.
A compression garment is then worn for the next three days to help reduce swelling following the procedure. This is supplied to you by the clinic and comes within your treatment price. After three days the patient can cut down to using the compression garment just at night for the next two weeks. Swelling, which is normal, starts to go down over the next two to four weeks. Our Surgeon/ Nurses will prescribe you a course of antibiotics to prevent secondary infection.
