Masseter Muscle Treatment

Masseter muscle treatment uses a muscle-relaxing treatment, given in small doses directly into the masseter. The muscle at the side of your jaw is responsible for clenching and grinding. Weakening this muscle’s grip eases habitual clenching without affecting your ability to eat, speak or smile normally.

What To Expect During Your Appointment

Your appointment starts with a short consultation, so your practitioner can check whether masseter muscle treatment is right for you and talk through what you’d like to achieve.

You will feel a slight pinch at the injection site during a small number of precise injections into the masseter muscle. Appointments are typically done within around 20 minutes.

You’ll be given aftercare advice before you leave, and results build gradually as the muscle relaxes over the following days.
