How does it work?
The FaceTite™ and BodyTite™ procedure is minimally invasive using advanced radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten and contour the skin without the need for a surgical procedure like a facelift.
A small cannula is inserted beneath the skin, delivering controlled RF energy in a probe to stimulate collagen and elastin production to improve skin elasticity and target excess fat by heating and shrinking the fat cells.
Each treatment zone is targeted for around 5 minutes to each area to ensure the correct amount of energy and heating is delivered. A gentle liposuction or aspiration of fat from the area is undertaken, if required, to complete the treatment.

This is painless as the area is now numb from the anaesthetic and once the treatment is over, small plasters are applied to the puncture sites – stitches are not normally needed.
- A compression garment is worn for the next three days to help reduce swelling following the procedure.
This is supplied to you by the clinic and is included within your treatment price. After three days, the patient can use the compression garment at night only for the next two weeks. This perfectly normal swelling will start to go down over the next two to four weeks.
- You will be given a course of antibiotics.
Our surgeon will prescribe you a course of antibiotics to prevent secondary infection – it is very important that you complete the course and alert our staff beforehand if you have any known allergies to antibiotics.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the BodyTite™ procedure help me lose weight?
Subcutaneous tissue heating is not a weight-loss procedure and cannot remove excess skin. While removing excess fat, tightening the skin, and contouring the features is made possible thanks to radiofrequency energy, there are limitations to what can be achieved.
As such, those seeking a whole-body transformation should be aware that this minimally invasive combination treatment should be used alongside a healthy diet and exercise for overall fat reduction.

Does the skin tightening procedure hurt?

How soon will I see the results and how long will this last?
Most patients will see the results of fatty tissue removal and body contouring straight away, especially on the delicate neck skin.
However, as there will be some swelling that continues for 2-4 weeks, the results in your treatment area will continue to get better over the months following your procedure.
As long as you continue on your path to wellness with a healthy diet and exercise, these results should be permanent. If you do put on weight again, sadly, the results will be undone.
It’s very important to understand that Face/BodyTite™ doesn’t prevent the effects of future weight gain, so you should continue to be mindful of this.
Will I be awake during treatment?
Unlike more invasive procedures under the banner of cosmetic surgery, radiofrequency-assisted liposuction is completed with a local anaesthetic.
