The dermaroller (also known as micro needling) is a small hand-held device which has micro surgical steel needles that reach the deeper surface of your skin to stimulate blood flow and force a skin repair response. This starts the rebuilding process where elasticity increased and new collagen is produced to smoothen out fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, the skin thickens to protect itself and form new skin around the scar tissue revealing a plumper, youthful complexion.

Following the treatment, your skin will show micro-bleeding. This is expected and required as this is where your body is starting to naturally regenerate and repair the skin. It can take up to six weeks before visible signs are seen and for best results we recommend three of these treatments between six week intervals.
