What is Restylane Vital?

Restylane Vital, a Galderma skin booster, is part of an entirely new category of aesthetic treatment for tired and/or dull-looking skin, focusing solely on improving skin appearance.

It uses a patented HA stabilisation technology called NASHA to help restore the natural composition of the skin and boost skin elasticity, reducing skin roughness.

NASHA stands for non-animal stabilised hyaluronic acid, Galderma’s own technology for producing a smooth, long-lasting hyaluronic acid gel.

Restylane Skin Boosters infuse a thin layer of micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid beneath the skin’s surface and into the dermis, where hyaluronic acid’s natural ability to hold water provides long-term, deep hydration.

Many people notice a refreshed, more radiant look that lasts.

What to expect during your appointment

Your Restylane Vital appointment takes around 15 minutes.

• A typical treatment programme starts with three sessions, two to four weeks apart. You’ll notice an improvement after the first session, but the full effect is visible after the last.
• Micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid are injected just beneath the skin’s surface, spread across the treatment area rather than at a single point.

Some redness, mild swelling or small bruises can appear at the injection points afterwards. These are common and usually settle within 48 to 72 hours.

After the initial course, a maintenance treatment is typically recommended every four to six months to help results last.
