Bye-bye to tatty tattoos
‘Think before you ink’ was the message from the Daily Mail when they featured the sorry tale of Cheryl’s mahoosive tattoo.
As if bad taste in boyfriends wasn’t sad enough, the former Girls Aloud singer can’t seem to get it right in tattoo terms either.
And it’s not as if every other celebrity does any better. Models, actresses, reality stars…they’re all here in this Telegraph piece: Bad Celebrity Tattoos (which, inevitably, includes Cheryl again).
Johnny Depp was one of the first celebs to start the bad tattoo bandwagon rolling. Engaged to, and in the first flush of romance with, fellow actor Winona Ryder, he had ‘Winona Forever’ tattooed on his deltoid. Undaunted when they split up, he had it altered – hopefully, ironically – to ‘Wino Forever’.
Realistically, though, if you have a tattoo you want rid of (doesn’t suit your image now you’re older, not allowed in your new workplace, or – as with Johnny Depp – the person named in it has totally gone off your radar) then visit us at Aesthetics of Essex for a new, faster way remove it.
Many people think tattoo removal involves hours of painful treatment and so they resort to alternative methods of removal (which could be dangerous) or doing an inadequate make-up job on them to cover them up. But there’s no need to put yourself at risk. At Aesthetics of Essex we use PicoSure, an item of equipment that has been featured on Channel 4’s ‘Tattoo Fixers’.
It is the fastest machine of its type in the world and it can remove any colour of ink. This is especially important in the case of red ink, as, when tackled using other tattoo removal methods, it often just fades, never totally disappearing.
So, show us your ‘tatt’s and we’ll show you what we can do!
