BioRePeel
If you’ve been keeping up with the latest advancements in skin care, you may have come across the BioRePeel treatment.
What is BioRePeel?
BioRePeel Developed by CMed Aesthetics (Italy) is an innovative peel treatment, using 2-phase technology that taps into the power of bio-stimulation, revitalisation, and peeling substances to rejuvenate the skin.
It adopts a unique, non-invasive approach aimed at addressing a myriad of skin concerns, ranging from acne and enlarged pores to signs of ageing and uneven skin texture. This treatment delivers a strategic combination of active ingredients to stimulate skin cells, promote exfoliation, boost hydration, and enhance collagen production. The outcome is a revitalised complexion, reflecting the holistic wellness of your skin.
The Science behind BioRePeel
Unlike traditional chemical peels that primarily rely on the peeling action of their acid components, BioRePeel utilises a unique blend of active ingredients, each playing a critical role in skin rejuvenation.
These include trichloroacetic acid (TCA) for improving the texture and appearance of the skin, alpha, beta and poly hydroxy acids for combating acne and skin brightening, and a combination of vitamins, amino acids and GABA for reducing lines and wrinkles and countering the effects of skin ageing by UV radiation and pollution .
BioRePeel prevents the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other symptoms of ageing on the skin. In addition to stimulating fibroblasts (cells that maintain tension and firmness), it increases cell turnover and collagen production for long-lasting effects.
What areas can BioRePeel Treat?
BioRePeel can be used on various areas of the body to address a range of skin concerns. It’s not just limited to the face. Treated areas include:
Face: It’s most commonly used on the face to treat concerns such as acne, blackheads, fresh scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and dullness.
Neck: The neck is often a neglected area that can show signs of ageing. BioRePeelCl3 can help to improve the texture and tone of the skin in this area.
Chest (décolletage): Like the neck, the chest can also show signs of sun damage and ageing. BioRePeelCl3 can help to rejuvenate the skin in this area.
Back: The treatment can be used to address concerns such as acne and acne scarring on the back.
Hands: Hands often show signs of ageing and sun damage before other areas of the body. BioRePeelCl3 can help to improve the appearance of the skin on the hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
How soon can I expect to see Results?
Typically, you can see some immediate effects after a BioRePeel treatment, such as brighter and smoother skin. However, for optimal results, especially for concerns like acne or signs of ageing, multiple treatments are usually recommended. Remember, everyone’s skin responds differently, and results can vary.
How many Bio-RePeel treatments will I need?
The number of BioRePeel treatments you’ll need depends on your specific skin concerns and goals. While some people may see significant improvements after just one session, others may need a series of treatments for the best results. Your skincare professional will be able to provide a personalised treatment plan, although a course of 3 sessions will often deliver results.
Does Bio-RePeel Hurt?
BioRePeel is generally a comfortable procedure. Some people may experience a slight tingling or mild discomfort during the treatment, but this typically subsides quickly once the procedure is complete.
How long do results last?
Typically, the improvements you see from BioRePeel – like a smoother skin texture, less visible lines or lighter pigmentation – can last for several weeks to a few months. It really depends on factors like your skin type, the specific skin concerns you’re addressing, and your overall skincare routine.
One thing to remember is that BioRePeel is not a one-and-done kind of treatment. For sustained results, it’s often recommended to have regular sessions, say, every 1 to 3 months. This will help keep your skin continuously refreshed and revitalised.
Will I peel?
The immediate aftermath of the treatment might leave your skin feeling a little tight, possibly showing some mild redness, but nothing that would stop you from going about your usual routine. Don’t be surprised if you notice a bit of flaking or peeling after a few days – it’s just your skin saying goodbye to the old and hello to the fresh, new layers underneath.
