The Procedure

The procedure involves injecting into the muscle and temporarily relaxes the facial muscles for approx 3 – 6 months. It prevents the formation of wrinkles and causes existing lines to soften, forming a smoother, youthful appearance.

The treatment is non-invasive with virtually no recovery time necessary; you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment. All consultations are carried out by our trained and experienced therapists, such as Debbie Mills (below), prior your treatment.

Treatable Areas

  • Frown lines between the eyes
  • Forehead lines
  • ‘Crows feet’ – lines around the eyes
  • Lines around the mouth

I am writing this following my recent anti-line and wrinkle treatment. I have had anti-line and wrinkle treatment in many places in the last 5 yrs. I must say that the results from your treatment are by far the best that I have ever had that's without my follow up which is included in the price of the treatment cost.
I think that your costs are especially reasonable for the level of skill and knowledge of the nurse who carried out the procedure.

I would not hesitate to recommend your clinic for anti-line and wrinkle treatments.

I have been to aesthetics of Essex twice now, for two different treatments, one for tattoo removal and the other for Botox.

The first time I went was for my tattoo laser treatment and the results so far are amazing, it's been approximately 4 weeks since having it done and it's faded more than I expected. I actually can't wait for my next session.

The second time I went was for my first ever Botox treatment and again after 2 days I'm so pleased with the results.

Being the first time of having Botox I was feeling very anxious but I was instantly put at ease by the ladies who work there, they are very friendly and go the extra mile to talk to you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I'm the end I actually thought having this done felt oddly therapeutic.

The team there are fantastic and I'm so pleased with the results so far that If i decide to ever have anything else done, aesthetics will always have my custom.

I have been having botox in Harley Street for over 9 years now until my doctor retired. I never thought I would find someone local that's so good and so gentle until now. Debbie's fantastic and made me crease free lol

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between facial muscle relaxant injections and dermal fillers?
Both are temporary injectable treatments. Facial muscle relaxant injections are used to relax the muscles that underlie the lines which become more visible through movement and age. Dermal fillers are used to lift out wrinkles that stay when the underlying muscles are relaxing and to restore skin volume and add contour to the aging face.

Will the injections hurt?
Each individual has a different pain threshold. You will be advised to discuss your concerns at your pre-treatment consultation. A local anaesthetic cream is sometimes used for added comfort.

How long will the treatment results last?
Approximately 3 – 6 months. The duration of results largely depends upon the area being treated and the products used. Other factors can also have an effect, such as skin type, lifestyle, age and the degree of correction sought.
