Hayfever Injection Indentation
Has a hayfever injection caused you an indentation?
This happens when the steroid solution which is commonly known as Kenalog collects at the site of the injection, either in the muscle or in the fatty tissue. The steroid changes the consistency of the tissue causing tissue loss which results in a dent or dimple in the skin which is due to fat necrosis.
What can you do about this hayfever injection side effect?
Aesthetics of Essex offer a non-surgical Poly L Lactic solution to fill the indentation. We can use either Sculptra or Lanluma, both achieving incredible results. We would advice that you wait 6 months post Kenalog injection to make sure the steroid effect has completely finished. On overage you need 2-3 treatments to completely combat the hayfever steroid injection side effect and fill the dent.
